October 30, 2007

Nokia Theatre L.A. The Eagles and Dixie Chicks sold out six concerts grossing $9,076,420.00, and a total of 42,600 fans (7,100 per concert) filling the theatre to celebrate the grand opening week of Los Angeles' newest concert venue.

"We could not have put together two better music groups then the Eagles and Dixie Chicks to help launch Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE," Lee Zeidman, General Manager, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. They put on six history making concerts that treated over 42,000 fans to a night of music they won't soon forget."

"The day I walked into the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE when the Eagles and Dixie Chicks were doing their sound check, I knew this run was going to be something very special. Not only were both these groups arena headliners in their own right, the venue served as an amazing backdrop for their immense talents. Nokia Theatre is a hybrid which mixes the intimacy and acoustics of a theatre with the stage size and production capabilities of an arena. The result on our opening six night run was the perfect blend of spectacle and spectacular talent."

The six concert dates included October 18, 20, 21, 24, 26, and 27th with tickets prices at $265, $195, and $85.

In its' first year, Nokia Theatre L.A.
