Downtown Los Angeles to Host Second Annual Christmasland Festival and Concert Series

Galpin Ford Presents KOST 103.5's ChristmasLand, Featuring Classic Holiday Activities, Outdoor Entertainment, Ice Skating and Two Live Concert Events December 5th & 6th, 2015

Los Angeles, CA (November 10th, 2015) – KOST 103.5, L.A.'s home for holiday music, announced today the second annual ChristmasLand, a Christmas street festival and concert series presented by Galpin Ford, the largest volume Ford dealer in the world, in partnership with iHeartMedia Los Angeles, AEG and Freely. Two Christmas concerts will occur in Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre) at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles.

The first concert will be on Saturday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m., featuring Kim Walker-Smith & Jesus Culture including Brian and Katie Torwalt, John Mark and Sarah McMillian. Walker-Smith will be joined by Grammy Award winning artist Michelle Williams with the voices of Faithful Central Bible Church, Mosaic MSC, Bethel Music Kids featuring singer-songwriter Amanda Cook, Saddleback Worship and Chad Veach of Zoe Church.

The second concert will be on Sunday, December 6, at 6:30 p.m., featuring Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum band Train, Grammy Award-winning, platinum-selling a cappella group Pentatonix and platinum-selling pop singer-songwriter Andy Grammer.

The ChristmasLand Street Festival is free to the public and will include a Santa experience, ice skating rink, carousel, Christmas themed activities for kids and live entertainment on the ChristmasLand Main Stage. The open-air festival will run from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 on Chick Hearn Court between STAPLES Center and Microsoft Square at L.A. LIVE.
