The sports icons, despite exercising considerable influence and impact on Los Angeles and the sports community at large for over 50 years, have never before sat on the same stage and shared their observations and wisdom together. "SCULLY & WOODEN...For the Kids" will be held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE with telecast coverage of the event beginning at 8 PM on FSN PRIME TICKET.

"SCULLY & WOODEN...For the Kids" is the brainchild of award winning Los Angeles Times sports columnist T.J. Simers. Simers, who will moderate the event, secured the participation of the two gentlemen under the condition that all monies raised be pledged to charities benefiting children. All proceeds from "SCULLY & WOODEN...For the Kids" will be split between the Pediatric Cancer Programs at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA and pediatric cancer research at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and City of Hope through ThinkCure, the official charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

To further assist producers of the event Simers and AEG's Michael Roth to reach their goal of raising $900,000 for the hospitals, Ticketmaster operators will be standing by to take financial pledges from television viewers inspired by the show at 1-877-994-KIDZ. Ticketmaster is one of the evening's Presenting Sponsors.

Said Simers in anticipation of the event: "One chance and only one chance to see Scully and Wooden on the hot seat. They obviously have some explaining to do. No one should be a successful and inspiring for so long---time to reveal their secrets. "SCULLY & WOODEN....For the Kids" is nearly a complete 7,100-seat sell-out with the remaining few tickets available via Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster ticket centers, and by phone at (800) 745-3000 and (714) 740-2000.

In addition to Scully, Wooden and Simers, "SCULLY & WOODEN...For the Kids" would not be possible without AEG; official media partners The Los Angeles Times (www.latimes.com), AM570 and FSN PRIME TICKET; and, marketing partners Los Angeles Dodgers and UCLA Athletics.

Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE was chosen as the venue for the event after Tim Leiweke, president & CEO of theatre owner AEG, donated the venue in addition to volunteering to host an exclusive pre-event dinner for organizations participating as Presenting Sponsors of the evening.

"It's hard to imagine two more respected or fascinating individuals to participate is this incredible event," said Lee Zeidman, General Manager, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE and STAPLES Center. "We could not be more proud to host this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime event that will go down as one of the most memorable evenings each of our guests will have ever attended."

FSN PRIME TICKET, the destination for the most comprehensive local coverage of Los Angeles Dodgers and UCLA Athletics, is actively supporting the fundraising effort of "SCULLY & WOODEN...For the Kids." The regional sports network has promoted event ticket sales on air since May.
