At Microsoft Theater, the health and safety of our guests, athletes, performers, and team members is our number one priority. We are closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus situation globally through updates from local, state, and national officials. Microsoft Theater continues to welcome guests to our venue and events and have implemented preventative measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Los Angeles County Public Health Department. Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I purchase tickets?

Both general and accessible seating are available through AXS, Microsoft Theater and STAPLES Center Box Offices. Please see our Ticketing page for details. 

Am I allowed to leave the venue and come back?

No. Microsoft Theater is a non-smoking facility (this includes electronic cigarettes) and has a No Re-Entry policy for all events. 

When should I arrive?

Guests are encouraged to arrive early as all guests will go through metal detector screenings and visual/bag inspections prior to entry. Please see the Guest Services A-Z for details on Entry Inspections and Prohibited Items

Are cameras allowed inside Microsoft Theater?

Non-professional, non-flash still photography is permitted at most events (disposable, digital, or 35mm cameras with no interchangeable or telephoto lens). Video and Audio recording is prohibited. Please note that some shows will have a different camera policy. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information.

I have special dietary restrictions; can I bring my own food or beverages inside Microsoft Theater?

No. Outside food or beverages will not be permitted inside the theatre. Guests with specific/special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements should contact Guest Services to discuss food options available. Unopened plastic water bottles, one liter or smaller will be permitted.

Do I need a ticket for my child?

For most events, children 3 years of age and older will require a ticket to enter the theater and must occupy their ticketed seat only. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) will have a different age policy. For most children’s shows, children 1 year and older will require a ticket. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information.

What is Guest Services and where is it located?

Guest Services is located on the Lounge Level of the theatre and is designed to provide information to guests with questions, concerns, or issues during Microsoft Theater events. In addition, Guest Services provides assistance to guests with disabilities and/or special needs (see the Accessibility Guide) at any time before or after the event.

Does Microsoft Theater offer wheelchair escorts?

Yes! Guest Services provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests when requested. Escorts are available at any entrance or guests may make escort arrangements on the day of the event, once doors have opened, by contacting Guest Services at (213) 763-6030 ext.3 when arriving to the venue. If a Guest Services Representative does not answer, please do not leave a message, but call back to speak with a representative. Can I take public transportation to Microsoft Theater? What is the closest parking lot?

Yes! Microsoft Theater is blocks from the Expo, Blue and Red Lines. Please see our Parking & Directions section for details on public transportation and parking.

Is there someplace close to eat or to get a drink before/after a Microsoft Theater event?

Yes! Please visit L.A. Live for a list of restaurants and entertainment options. 

Is there a Lost and Found at Microsoft Theater?

Yes! All lost and found items are taken to Guest Services. To inquire about a lost item please contact Guest Services with a description of the item and the date it was lost. 

What should I do if I witness inappropriate behavior while in attendance at a Microsoft Theater event?

Guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest Usher, Security Officer, or Guest Services Staff Member. If you feel that our staff doesn’t address any issues to your satisfaction, please request to speak with a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
